  • Come join Moira for connection, stillness, deep relaxation and community wellness. We will join together for a forest bath, sound healing meditation and end with tea & snacks as we reflect on the experience. Expect to leave de-stressed, grounded and grateful for a morning of self-care.

He is quickly able to break down that often coined, "wall of green" to help you build a closer relationship with the more than human world. Ancestral skills are an integral part of the continuation and honoring of native cultures across the globe. Hike and Heal Wellness sponsored his series in 2021 - it was incredible! Highly recommend. His walks are usually about 2 hours in length.

Youth & Family Programs

Family Adventure Club
  • Bring your families (and snacks!) out for a morning of youth-led nature adventures. We'll meet at different parks in the area and try new ways to connect to the more than human world as a group. We'll play games, learn about the natural world, share gratitude and tell stories. Sometimes we'll have fires, sometimes we'll build, sometimes we'll climb. Sometimes I'll bring along nature educators to lead us in something special. 
  • When? Bi-monthly from 10:00 -12:00pm at a local nature area
  • Investment: by donation! All proceeds collected will go towards a scholarship fund to help create more accessibility to the other programming offered at Hike and Heal Wellness.

Caregiver-Child Nature Play Series

​Caregiver-Child Nature Play Series
  • June 22 - July 9 | Weekly drop-in available + series discounts
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:30-11:30am with a relaxed start 
  • A six-class series over 3 weeks for you and your little one(s) to explore, climb, imagine, play & connect with other families outside in natural spaces. Think respite from having to plan fun activities to engage your kids. Think developmentally appropriate sensory-based play that is led by the interest of the kids. Think self-care for you! Gathering in community is healing in itself, and a reminder that we are not met to parent alone. It takes a village, and when we see other parents going through it - we just feel more normal :) Let's gather together for 6 sessions and have some fun!
Woodland Imagination - A Weekly 2-day Camp 
  • June 24 - July 17th on Tuesdays & Thursdays (minus the week of Independence Day)
  • 9am - 1pm @Wesmorland Park in all weather minus threatening storms 
  • Intended for 4-6 year olds, but older kids with big imaginations welcome! Parents are welcome to stay and play with us. These 2-day mini camps will be full of child-led imagination, play and fun. We will create things, wish for things and notice things like portals to 🧚🏽 fairy and gnome realms! A wizard might show up, or an Ewok 😀 Lots of games will be played and of course you can expect some self-regulation skills to be passed on through sit spots and nature poses/breaths.

Door County Leadership Trip
  • July 21-24, 2025
  • 9am drop-off Monday - late afternoon pick-up Thursday
  • It's a coming of age experience for young and pre-teens to spend time away in nature in a safe community. Kids will learn skills in camping, camp cooking, fire tending, storytelling, spoon carving, hiking, plant ID and hiking. They'll get to paddle, zip line and participate in engaging team building activities to promote conversations around belonging, personal leadership, kindness, respect and so much more. Give your child this awesome opportunity!

  • 10am Saturday - post lunch Sunday (between 1-2pm)
  • This experience is for families of all varieties. Take a deep breath and full body stretch as you shake off winter’s dust and come out of hibernation. As your guides, we will help facilitate a deep connection - with your family, the land and your truest self. Through this experience, you will be able to benefit from new and refreshing ways to interact with one another and our outer landscape. Parents & children will receive time away from each other for self-care, and then come back together for tons of memory-making, fun. Potluck style meals that families contribute to, we all cook together and build community!
