The Important DetailsDates: TBD 2024 Date - Tentatively Sept 13-15
Times: Arrive Friday night or Saturday morning for a 9am programming start. Depart before 2pm on Sunday. Location: Local campground in Dane County Sleeping: Family Camping - utilize one of the four open air cabins (cement foundation) to stay out of the elements or pitch a tent. If you need any camping gear, feel free to email Moira to inquire. Just let us know your needs. This is an all elements weekend. Pit toilet stall bathrooms, several fire pits, kitchenette, nature center, and open air shelter should allow us to program in most weather to stay comfortable. If you'd like to partake in all activities BUT camping - that is also an option. Tell us what you need and we will try our best to make it happen! Food: Once registration closes mid-summer, a healthy, kid-friendly menu will be created so families can sign up for certain items to bring and be in charge of. Cell / Device Policy: leave it in your car- show your family how to really unplug. Even more fun, print a map to get to our location and leave it at home! We will take pictures / videos and share with the group post event. Cancellation Policy: This is a rain or shine event. If forecast shows storms that would make it unsafe to be outside, we will still have an alternate plan (there are shelters to use at our site for group work for protection from the elements) for that weekend at the same location. If you should need to cancel, please see our cancellation policy. |
