Winter Self-Care Retreat for Healers
Are you a healer of some kind? Energy worker, light worker, nurse, teacher, police officer, therapist or something similar? It is likely you spend a lot of time in your life caring for others. Well, here's a chance to reap the benefits of vibrational healing from one practitioner to another. We will begin our day at the UW Arboretum, enjoying a guided Forest Therapy Walk to awaken the senses and receive the many benefits of the Japanese preventative health-care practice called Shinrin-yoku. After 2-3 hours of intuitive fun and playfulness, we will break for lunch (on your own) and meet back the Mindful Life Center off of Fish Hatchery Road and the beltline. Here we will engage in a group process about shedding the ego as a community of healers, stretch the body through some restorative yoga poses and finish off our time together with a crystal singing bowl & Reiki sound healing meditation. Participants will receive discounts on local Hike & Heal events to continue to care for themselves throughout the winter and rest of the year.
